"The literary agent toils at a mysterious alchemy, impossibly combining words and dollars in the ever-hopeful pursuit of forging the bright ore of a writing career that will serve to the mutual benefit of all the parties involved. It is an enigmatic profession involving a complex brew of relationships among author and agent and publisher and public." -- David Lindsey, Rules of Silence (Warner Books, 2003), p. ix.

Dear All,
The Alicja Solska Literary Agency was founded with the objective of representing authors of children’s literature - writers, illustrators and translators. Cooperation with you, artists of words and pictures, is a great honour and a real pleasure for us. Our goal is to find publishers, promote books and protect the rights of the author.
We are interested mainly in family bookshelf stories, bright tales, adventures, warm and romantic mysteries and picture books.
We know that not all authors enjoy the large publisher environment. We offer an alternative in the form of personal, careful cooperation with authors, whose creative endeavours we truly admire. We believe that one becomes, and is not born a great author. We are willing to accompany you in building and developing your artistic career, to advise you and assist at every stage of the editorial process. We cannot promise books being published or sold, but we can promise professionalism in our bilateral relations and respecting all the norms accepted in the work of the literary agent.
