The Little Moon, and other goodnight poems

„Mały księżyc i inne wiersze na noc”
Joanna Papuzińska
, illustrated by Jakub Guterman

Joanna Papuzińska invited Jakub Guterman, her friend from Israel, to illustrate her collection of lullabies. During the war, as a child, Jakub hid in the villages near Łowicz. Now he has painted crooked fences with mallows blooming by them, roadside willows, hives, old clocks striking the hours, decorated cradles and folk cut-outs on the walls.
A bilingual Polish-Hebrew version of ‘The Little Moon’ (“Mały Księżyc”) is being prepared.
